We’ve got you covered! In the Intro to Hand Lettering class we learn the basics from the first stroke, to connecting letters, and finding your own style. This is an in-person workshop. You are supplied with all the swag you need to start this new passion. Liz teaches this class and is there to guide you and answer questions along the way. How much is this workshop?

Workshops are priced at $70 for a seat. The goal is to keep this accessible. When new workshops launch they debut at a sale price for the first week. That is best time to grab the lowest price.

What is included in this workshop?

Each workshop supplies you with all you need to get your new passion started. The supplies evolves with the brands I curate. However each workshop seat includes:

  • 18 – page lettering guide

  • Tombow Fudenosuke hard tip brush pen

  • Tombow Fudenosuke soft tip brush pen

  • Tombow Dual brush pen

  • Zippered pen pouch

  • Pencil

  • Ruler

  • eCo. assorted card

  • 2-hours of personal instruction

  • Hands on feedback as you learn

Do I need to know how to letter already?

Nope. Not at all. Liz teaches you everything from how to hold the pen. The class caters to beginners and more seasoned letterers, alike. Liz is able to curate her feedback based on your skill level. Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate letterer, you all can get something out of this workshop.

What if I don’t have good handwriting?

You do not have to have good handwriting to be a hand letterer. I REPEAT… you get the idea. Hand lettering is more like drawing letters. You are putting together strokes to make letters and letters together to make words, and so on. Although knowledge of connecting letters and good handwriting will only help, it is not required to be good at hand lettering. Don’t let that hold you back. You got this!

Who is this for?

Anyone. Young ladies and elderly grandmothers have attended these workshops. There is no limit or requirement for anyone to attend. I would say 8 years and above is a good guideline depending on interest. All are welcome!

Where is this located?

Each location depends on the specific event. Most workshops are hosted at local coffee shops to support them and bring awareness to these great shops in the area. These are an in-person event in the NE Ohio area.
